How/why did you get into this business?  I loved wine since I was eight.  I had several other careers on the East Coast before I found out I could actually take classes and go into the business.  When I found out, it took me about 5 minutes to decide I would do it.  I moved to California, went to Davis for 4 months, and started as a tour guide.  Since then, I have built two major sparkling wine houses.  

What’s your favorite/least favorite part of the job?  My favorite part of the job is the smell of the grapes from our organic vineyards as they are pressed and then fermented.  Also seeing people enjoying sparkling wines (especially the first time they find out how delicious the “good stuff” is).My least favorite?  Well, it is all good with the right attitude.

What do you hope to achieve most?  To make the world’s finest sparking wines and in an earth-conscious way.
